Asako Fujimoto navigates the liminal space between sound, structure, and the sensing body. As a sound artist, musician, and composer, her practice drifts through algorithmic systems and sonic mappings of place—of memory, of architecture, of presence.

 Emerging from New York City’s 1990s underground, she shaped her sensibilities amidst analog circuitry, digital flux, field recordings, and the raw intimacy of voice. Her work traverses solo transmissions and collective vibrations, releasing audio materials and performing across a wide constellation of contexts.

 Her spatial and generative compositions resonate through global platforms—from ZKM and the Venice Biennale Architettura to the Hermitage Museum, the Athens Digital Arts Festival, and Institut Français du Japon Kansai—often co-authored with practitioners across disciplines and media.

 Her current trajectories investigate sound as site and signal—within audiovisual installations, live performances, and compositional frameworks that stretch across physical and virtual terrains.
